Can not import Outlook PST files?

Hello;

I am having a problem trying to import Outlook Express 2003 *.pst files
into Vista. When I try to import messages and select Microsoft Outlook, I
get the error message "Messages cannot be imported from the MAPI client. An
error has occured". The error happens as soon as I select to import
Microsoft Outlook. Any help greatly appreciated.

Outlook Express does not have pst files. Outlook (part of Office)does. If it is pst files from Outlook then you might want to try to export the pst files from Outlook and THEN import to Vista Mail

Moving data from Outlook to either OE or WM requires both Outlook and OE/WM
to be installed and functional on the machine used to do the transfer. The
error message results form the Outlook "pieces" required to access the
Personal Folders (.PST) file not being present.
