Windows Live Hotmail account in WLM - which POP3 & SMTP to use ?
I set up a new Windows Live Hotmail email account under WLM.
Everything seems to work OK, except that I used the incoming mail
(POP3) and Outgoing mail (SMTP) of my main email account.
It works OK, but there is one big problem:-)
Problem: when I check for new emails, this new WLH email account
gets a DUPLICATE of all incoming emails that go to my main account -
which of course, uses the same POP3 & SMTP.
I could not find a free MS (or other) replacement for the POP3 & SMTP that
I am currently using. I "DO NOT" want to add another routine that runs in
the background!!!! I just need a POP3 & SMTP for this new account.
How do I set up this new WLH email account to "ONLY" receive
emails that are specifically addressed to it, and send only emails generated
from it ?
I do not need a duplicate of my main email account - talk ~ confusion :-)
Thanks,
Gene

Re: Windows Live Hotmail account in WLM - which POP3 & SMTP to use ?
Darn, looks like I will have to pay MS $200 x2 for two upgrade copies
of Vista that allows for the networks option ?
That little address file is getting expensive :-)
