I changed an address in Contacts, IE: my email at work changed from @xyz.com
to @abc.edu. I've completely deleted the address and re-entered it, but when
I compose an email, and type my first name, both address come up in
auto-complete. Does anyone know how I can completely delete the old one?
Thanx
Windows Mail saves a list of the last 29 recipients you've sent email to.
There is no easy way to delete an undesired email address from that list.
That list is stored in the registry.
Be patient. Eventually that bad address will drop off the remembered list.
Or if you are comfortable editing the registry, you can delete this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Recently Used Addresses
