Windows Mail shut down

When I attach a photo to a windows mail email the program shuts down. I lose
the email and must start over. Sometimes it happens several times in a row
and then it finally stops and lets me send the message. It never happens
when I attach a document. Can anyboy help......

Do you close the photo in all other programs before attaching it in
Windows Mail? Windows Mail has problems if you don't.

Also, what is any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them
cause assorted problems in Windows Mail.
