WLM vs WM?

Vista Home Premium

I can not access my OE 6.0 identities which contain archived emails.

Yet I think I may be able to in WLM. However if I install WLM, will I have
to uninstall WM? What about contacts? I do have a folder with my OE 6.0
contacts and developed a new contact list as WM took so long to get to
compose, and reply.

Thoughts to guide me on WLM vs. WM?

Thanks in advance,
Robert

Windows Mail does not support identities. It does, however, allow
you to have more than one email account, and puts all the incoming
mail into one Inbox.

Information on how to import Outlook Express messages into
Windows Mail:

<http://www.askmehelpdesk.com/email/import-dbx-files-outlook-express-windows-mail-vista-86458.html>

If you also want to transfer the contacts, bring along the .wab
file. After you copy the files to a directory on your new computer,
but before you import them into Windows Mail, make sure the
copies are read-write instead of readonly

Windows Live Mail does not support identities either, but at least
it uses a separate set of folders for each account.

Windows Mail is a part of Vista, and very hard to uninstall without
taking the rest of Vista with it. However, removing its email
account will prevent it from downloading mail, and installing
Windows Live Mail will hide Windows Mail.

If you have more questions on Windows Live Mail, you'll
probably get answers faster if you ask them in its newsgroup:
