I hate VISTA
this "new" software just terminates whatever I'm in the middle of to update
itself. hence I loose it all...most annoying...especially when it was a
letter...
The contact lists havent transfered....I paid for the software and the cable
and everything...NONE TO BE FOUND IT INFORMS ME...HA!....nowhere to be found
even when I try to import /export....
also, the language is nowhere to be found.. when I try to do a spell
check.. I actually hate this new vista and also all the changes to HOTMAIL.
Who wants msn???not me... When I type in www.hotmail.com why should I write
xxxxx@hotmail.com instead of like yahoo when all I write is my name not @
YAHOO.COM..its pathetic..then i have to go through another hoop and click on
email to get to my hotmail.. Tired of all of Microsofts gimmicks... theyre
annoying especially when we have to get used to them just to change again...
It all defies logic... I am so sick of it.. I wonder if I can scrap this
VISTA and replace it with XP? Anyone got any solutions... I cant stop
hotmail.. I've had it since before bill gates owned it.. 10 years.. wish i
could...

Re: I hate VISTA
Brazim , I can't help with transfering of data but if you go to language and
check and accept German as your language, then go back in and change it
English your spell check will work. Go figure.......Joe

Some of us have set it to tell us about new updates, and let us decide
if we want to install them, instead of just installing all of them at once.

Did you import the .wab file from your old computer, which contains
the contacts if your old email program was Outlook Express?

Windows Mail comes with the default language partly set to English, but
not enough to work. To correct this, click on Tools, then Options, then
Spelling, then the triangle to the right of English, then some other
language,
then Apply, then the triangle again, then English, then Apply again, then
OK.

Windows Mail won't connect to Hotmail. You may want to download and
install Windows Live Mail, which will:

Are you running on a computer where you haven't had XP before? If so,
there's likely to be a problem finding all the drivers you need to make it
use its newer hardware under XP.

Re: I hate VISTA
Don't give up. Vista is much better than XP, but it takes as a while to get
use to it.
