notification

Hi all, is there a way of minimizing windows mail to the tray for
notifications without having windows mail open? Thanks.

If you click on the _ character near the right top of the window,
it will stay open but minimized. Is this close enough?

It needs to be open in the background, or else no mail will be
received. You can minimize to the tray with a third party add-on:
