retrieving mail

Windows mail is not retrieving the e-mails from my server every time. When I
go online and check my mail online it shows that I have e-mails there, but
for some reason they aren't downloading to Windows mail. It's an "on an off"
problem. Sometimes when I check my mail they download, then other times they
don't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks & God bless.

Windows Mail does not retrieve mail constantly, it does so at intervals
which by default are set at 30 minutes. So if you check mail at the
website, there may be new emails there that WM has not yet downloaded.
You can reduce the checking interval, but don't go less than 5 minutes:
Tools, Options, General, "Check for new messages every XX minutes."
