cant get rid of local folders
HI,

I setup an account called "johndoe@xxx.com". It created a set of folders
called "john done". Email sent/recived from that account works fine.

I still have a folder called "local folders" with no email account
associated with it.
How do I get rid of it? Several of my applications that send email keep
defaulting to that one.

I clicked on properties and it gave me no option to remove it. I clicked on
accounts and it gave me no option to remove it.

The standard local folders that come with Windows Mail usually cause
problems when you try to remove them. You remove any folder that you
added, though.

Re: cant get rid of local folders
You can't remove the standard folders created by Windows Mail.

A copy of sent emails will be deposited in the Sent Items folder unless
you have disabled that option: Tools, Options, Send, uncheck the first option.

Are you asking about Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail?
