I tried deleting the actual Deleted Items folder in Vista's Windows Mail
folder for my user.

It tells me I need permission to do that...

I'm the ONLY Administrator on this laptop, hell, the only user!

There are problems trying to delete any of the standard folders,
such as the Deleted Items folder.

You should be able to delete its contents, but not the folder
itself.

One of the FIRST things you need to learn about Vista is that even an
administrator has only normal powers until your superpowers are required...
like Popeye eating his spinach..
