Assuming you didn't try to install the 64-bit version of that fix on a 32-bit
Vista system (or vice versa), it sounds like you have a different problem
than what that fix was designed to cover.
In case of intractable Windows Mail problems, I always advise people to
upgrade to the newer (and better) email program:
