Windoows Mail erases my yahoo mail when I open Windows Mail

Every time I open Windows Mail it will erase all my SBC yahoo mail. I go to
Yahoo Mail and all my e mails are gone. How can I change my settings so it
doens't do that anymore? thansk...

You mean it deletes the messages on the server after it downloads them?

Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after xx days

when I go back to Yahoo mail, all my inbox e mails are GONE...This happens

Did you set up Windows Mail to download from your Yahoo account?

The same thing happens to me also. I set it up on my laptop and now I have to
get on my LTop to get the mails I need, How can I send them back to yahoo to
get them from my desk top?

You can't send them back, unless you want to forward each message
individually. If there are many messages, that would be quite a task!
The key is to know that POP mail clients by default tell the server to
erase successfully downloaded messages, although it is easy to
change that default: Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties,
Advanced, "Leave a copy of messages on server."

That is standard POP mail procedure. You need to set your mail client to
keep a copy on the server....
