SEND/RECIEV EMAIL

I USE HOT MAIL FOR MY EMAL.. AND WHEN I GO INTO CRAIGLIST IT DOESNT SUPPORT
HOTMAIL SO I M USING HOT MAIL LIVE WHICH IS STIL HOTMAIL, AND IT DOES N WORK
IT GOES DIRECTINLY TO WINDOWS MAIL.. WHY? so how do i can reply to
craigslist and recieve mail.. i know i have to add account and it asked what
my incoming mail is pop3 or something and outgoing mail what it is.. can u
help me please..and all my outgoing mail is in windows mail with errors..
