Address book

Having the same problem as a lots others can't move address book from
Outlook Express to Vista Windows Mail any help on this
problem????????????????????

you have to EXPORT it while in OE.
then in WM you use the IMPORT to import it.
if IMPORT is not showing at the top of WM Contacts window then
look in the left pane for the CONTACTS folder.
right click on that folder and select Properties.
then under the CUSTOMIZE tab select Contacts from the drop down list, APPLY and ok out.
you should then see the IMPORT button.

Hi Mike,
I originally used an 'easy transfer' cable/utility to transfer the AB from
XP to Vista. The addresses were therre OK, but not automatically brought in
when typing into the 'To' box for new emails except when having previously
used that particular email address.
I tried followed your advice and deleted the Conacts file on the Vista laptop.
I then exported again from the XP/PC and re-imported this time using a flash
stick. All worked OK and the addresses are back in place. But the problem
remains the same with no auto input. Do you have any other suggestions?
