Deleting Contact from Contact List
A friend changed addresses. I right clicked old address, <Delete> and
its gone, added correct new address which displays correctly BUT hit
Create Mail, start to type name in "To:" and it autofills deleted
name and old address. Cant even find old address to try to edit as a
fix. Other ideas???

Re: Deleting Contact from Contact List
More 'phantom' auto-complete shenanigans.
Did you try closing Windows Mail and restarting it?

Re: Deleting Contact from Contact List
I have the same problem. Auto complete starts filling in address that is not
even in my contacts anymore. I have exited and re-started windows mail but
it's till the same. Any help would be great.

Re: Deleting Contact from Contact List
As one responder reported a day or two ago, those 'phantom'
auto-complete entries are stored in a key in the registry.
You can edit that registry key, but what's the point?
It will just fill up again each time a send is done.

Re: Deleting Contact from Contact List
If you have to ask..., you're not ready.
In good conscience I cannot advise you to edit the registry.
It would be like a nurse attempting open heart surgery.
