Where do I change Security Setting, which currently do not allow perfectly
innocent attachments to emails to be downloaded?

Hi Zygy,

From the main Windows Mail window:
1. Click Tools -> Options
2. Click Security tab
3. Dot "Internet Zone"
4. Uncheck "Do not allow....."
5. Uncheck "Block images and ......"

Tools>options>read, disable read all in plain text>apply
Or Tools>options>security, 4th option.
Or try selecting the mail with the attachment>Alt, V, H. keystroke
