user name adn password

I know my isp user name and password. I have removed the account and set it
up again and it is still doing the same thing. I did not unclick the box the
save the username and passsword but it is asking for it. I type it in but
the box pops back up asking for it. What do I do??

Do they want username@isp.net or just username without @isp.com?
Are you sure the case is proper in the password?
Is the username all lower case?

It would be helpful if you had included the complete error
message. One possibility is that you are trying to use a
mail account that does not have POP access. Only the
complete error message will give us the diagnostics we need.
