POP3 AND SMTP
I am trying to get my mail account set up and it is asking for my pop3 server
and my smtp server. How do I find out what mine is and what to put in those
places

Ask your email provider (who is probably also your internet provider) for
their instructions on how to set up to use their email servers. If they
haven't
written instructions for Windows Mail yet, use their instructions for
Outlook Express but under Windows Mail instead. The instructions are
probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your
email provider is and see if anyone here already knows where to find
the instructions.

Re: POP3 AND SMTP
In order to use Hotmail, you will need to download and install the
newer Windows Mail program:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
It won't even ask you for server information because it recognizes
Hotmail addresses and will configure those automatically.

If you have a Comcast account, look there:

<http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/index.jsp?faq=Emailtop17686&cookieattempt=1>

The instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should also work for
Windows Mail if you avoid the One Click Fix.
