lost 1st column showing folders

Hello - Can anyone help. I've "lost" the left hand column showing folders,
junk-mail,deletion etc. I can only get the full screen to send and receive
messages. What have I done? and how do I put it right. Something easy I
hope!!

If you click on the symbol to the right of the second triangle to the right
of
Send/Receive, it shoulf appear or disappear.
