Contacts
My problem: my contacts are in the contact folder, but if I don't use them
frequently, I have to type in their address completely. This is hard to
explain, but Windows XP always kept the contacts and you did not have to
type in the address each time. The address will last about 3 days. Does
anyone else have this problem? I've only seen it on Vista. Thanks

Re: Contacts
If you are referring to the auto-completions of email addresses... it
doesn't work well in Windows Mail.
Try the newer Windows Live Mail.... it's much better.

Windows Mail doesn't use the Contacts list for auto-completion of
addresses - it uses a separate list of the last 29 addresses you sent
messages to. When in the new message window, you can reach
the Contacts list by clicking on Tools and then Select Recipients
in the new message window instead of starting to type the address.

Re: Contacts
in addition to the other replies, you need to type the first 3 letters of the address for the auto complete to work, and also use that address several (2-3) times before it gets registered in the auto complete list.
