Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
I have addressed this issue here numerous times. If you need a
better working Contacts feature, upgrade to WLM:

Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
No, WLM is a desktop app which has all the capabilities Windows
Mail has, plus the ability to accommodate Hotmail accounts.

Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
OK, the name changed. Downloaded it and imported my Contacts. First of all,
I lost all the contacts that were in the subfolders. Pulled them back from
my desktop, and none of the subfolders carried over - just a long list of the
entire contents. Still can't find a way to make subfolders - I can make
groups, but I rarely want to send emails to the entire contents of a group
either. So it looks like I'm still stuck.

Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
WLM has groups (like WM), but unlike WM, those groups can be
edited on the fly. Once a group is on the To line, you can expand it
into individual contacts and delete the ones you don't want to
receive that message.

Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
I saw that - it's kind of a fix but still pretty awkward if I only want to
send it to two or three people in a folder of thirty, and maybe one person
out of another folder of thirty. It will have to work, but not really the
feature I used to have. Definitely don't consider this an "upgrade". Thanks
for trying though.

Re: CONTACTS FOLDERS
If you need to send to only a couple of contacts, they probably should be
selected from the complete contacts list instead of from groups.
