Windows Mail
It shows I have received email messages, but when I click on my Inbox folder,
it shows there are no items to view. I can view the messages in all my other
folders, but not the INBOX. Please tell what to do so I can view the
messages in my Inbox.

To see the messages you have already read, click on the Inbox, then View,
then Current View, then Show All Messages.

I have exactly the same problem.
I am using Vista and yesterday all my e-mails disappeared from my
inbox. It says I have about 1200 unread e-mails (Iwas away and came
home to over 3000 messages - at least 95% will be junk) but when I
click on the Inbox it says there are no items in this view.
Dell seem unable to fix it and I can't find any help elsewhere.
Did you find a solution?
Thanks

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause assorted
problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

I'm using Avast as I had problems after installing Norton so
uninstalled that and was advised to install Avast

If you used the standard install of avast!, it may help to uninstall it,
then do a custom install that tells in to leave out the part that scans
email. That's what I'm using.

Click View | Current View and make sure Show All Messages is the only thing
checked.
