Can't delete folders?
I recently set up a new computer running Vista to replace my XP Pro machine.
I managed to move most to my Outlet Express messages and folders into the
new Windows Mail but not everything imported properly. I retried moving the
messages and folders that didn't work the first time and some imported but
with the rest I only succeeded in creating a bigger mess. I now have three
copies of a folder and their subfolders but there are no messages in any of
them and I can't delete them, either. I click on them and the program acts
like they're being deleted but they they just stay there. Anyone have any
idea what's going on and how to fix it? TIA!

RE: Can't delete folders?
I'm having the exact same problem. My computer came with Vista installed on
my Gateway, so replacing XP to Vista isn't the problem. The "help" says to:
"Open Windows Mail, In folders list check the folder to delete, click file
menu, point to folder and then click cancel." It didn't work for me, but who
knows, maybe you will have more success. Good luck!!

Re: Can't delete folders?
I was playing around this morning and I managed to delete the folders. I
had to rename the lowest subfolder and then delete that subfolder. Then go
to the next and repeat the process. Later today I'm going to try to import
the folders and messages again. If it doesn't work that time I think that
I'll get rid of Windows Mail and try Thunderbird.
