sending multiples

I am having a major problem with windows mail sending over 200 copies of the
same e-mail to the same person. Even after deleting the said e-mail, windows
mail still keeps sending. How do I stop this?
Someone please help as I am going insane over this.

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause
assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

I have been told it is a problem with mail and not my antivirus program. Have
been using Norton which kept crashing my computer. Have done 2 system
recoveries but still have the same prob

You might try uninstalling Norton (not just disabling it) and see if it
helps.

Been there, done that. Now running an antivirus that is fully compatible with
Vista.
It seems to be that there is no solution to this prob but I will still wait
and see if there are any more answers. I have tried everything including
talking to Microsoft, who, by the way, don't seem to have the answers either.

Even in antivirus programs that are fully compatible with Vista, it's a good
idea to disable scanning email.

If you still have problems with Windows Mail, you might try downloading
and installing Windows Live Mail:
