Hide Read Messages doesn't work

I have a problem where when I select "Hide Read Messages" only unread
messages are hidden. Anyone know of a fix?

What is April 1st? Do I have a virus? I use Computer Associates Realtime
monitor.

April 1st is April fools day, when jokes are played, I ASSumed that your
post was such?

I have never come across this fault in years of supporting OE and or in WM.

What do you have selected at View>current view?

Try selecting Hide read messages with the top and bottom options selected
first.

Thanks. Yes, it has been a pesky problem. This is a Vista upgrade from XP.
It first started in Outlook Express.

Under Current View I have Show All Messages and Group Messages by
Conversation. When I select Hide Read Messages unread are hidden while read
messages continue to be displayed.
