Unable to get windows mail up from a website link

Whenever i am on any website that says email from here i get a message saying
that windows mail is not installed correctly. It came on my new pc. I can
send and recieve if i go to Windows Mail but just not from a webpage email

Start | Default Programs
Make sure Windows Mail has all three of its defaults.

Here's a tip I learned from this board:
Close windows mail
Set your windows mail to defaults by clicking the start button then
typing in defaults in the search window, click on defaults then click on
Windows mail defaults when it comes up. When u reopen Windows mail try
sending that email again it should work. the only problem is u may have
to keep going through this process each time u want to send an email
from a web page..............as I have to Something to do with the
registry??
