deleting a sent message while being sent. Windows Vista

Hello,
Is there any way to delete a message while it is sending? I have a large
file (video) that I wish to cancel because it is holding other sent messages
and is started everytime I send. It's sent because it does not get completed
each time because of an error from my internet provider.

Quickest way to stop it is to close your Internet connection first. That
will interrupt the sending process such that it will be easier to delete the
message in the Outbox.
