Block Sender

Is there any point to this and if so do I block the sender, or block the
senders domain?
I have already done both to 40 kazillion mails, but the spam keeps flowing.

There's no point unless it's a recognizable repeat offender who does not
change their email address.

IMHO people get too hot and bothered about spam. Deleting my 500 or more a
day takes me little time, probably because most of the mail from legitimate
senders gets moved to other folders by message rule and each such move has
"and Stop processing more rules" as an action.

Spam bots nowadays invent sender identity on the fly. There's no point in
blacklisting those addresses.

I use popfile to sort my incoming mail. It does a good job. Just once in a
while
I need to correct a message that went into the wrong bucket.

Tobi

Trying to block spam by using Blocked Senders or Blocked Domain
is a waste of time.

Ask your mail provider if they offer server level spam blocking.

Make sure your Windows Mail Junk E-mail setting is on 'High'.
