Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

Make sure you have enabled the option "My server requires authentication."
That is mandatory when using port 587.

'POP3' is not a valid server name. What happens when you use it depends on
what your internet provider does with invalid server names.

These instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should also work
under
Windows Mail if you avoid the One Click Fix.
