Does your connection to that server go through some other internet
provider's
equipment before it gets to buraak.net.pk? If so, such connections to port
25
are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers. In this case, you have two
choices: 1. Ask buraak.net.pk if their outgoing email server listens to
any
port other than port 25 for outgoing mail, and if so, how to switch to the
other port. 2. Use the outgoing email server of the first internet
provider
in the connection instead.
Also, what if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause
various problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

That mail host does exist. As a test, try substituting 202.133.44.6 for the
SMTP server name mail.buraak.net.pk. It sounds like there is a problem
with DNS lookup on your PC.

So you're trying to use the same server? If not, show us your
entire error message.

Re: Windows mail can't send email but in XP/2000 pro. send workin
Have you set up using Suddenlink's instructions?
https://account.suddenlink.net/selfc...-settings.html
http://www.suddenlink.com/support/ho...lookExpress50/
They don't seem to have written instructions for Windows Mail yet, but
you should find what you need in the Outlook Express instructions.
Are you using a connection to that server that crosses from one
internet provider's equipment to another's along the way? If so, such
connections to port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers.
