Missing toolbar in windows mail for creating group contacts

I need some help... I have been trying to create a new group contact or
mail list in vista's windows mail. When I open contacts their are
displayed through explorer and I am supposed to have a toolbar with a
button named "New Contact Group" and there is no such thing. I need
some help to get this back so that I can create my group or mail list.

I would appreciate any help.

RE: Missing toolbar in windows mail for creating group contacts
Hi tasila 796,

Right click on a clear space on the create mail toolbar:

There should be 3 Items ticked} Toolbars: Views Bar: Search Bar:

Left click on Customise: In available toolbars buttons, left click on
Contacts:
Left click on add; this should do it for you, Good Luck.

RE: Missing toolbar in windows mail for creating group contacts
I'm having same problem. It's not the contact tool bar. It's the option to
create a new group that is missing. Someone please help us. The option to
create a new group used to be displayed, but now it is gone. This happened
once before, then magically the option reappeared. But it's been days now
and no group option. Help.

Re: Missing toolbar in windows mail for creating group contacts
Posted daily...
Your Contacts folder has apparently switched from it's proper default
template.
Open Contacts
Right-click on a blank area of the right pane, and select "Customize this
folder"
in the pull-down box, select "Contacts"
ok

Hi Connie,

Your folder template is not set to "Contacts" for this folder. Step 2A
in this tutorial will show you how to fix this problem.

'Contacts' (http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/69738-contacts.html)
