can't send email

I can't sent emails, they leave my outbox but just sit in "sent" I've
removed my mcafee still now luck

Where else do you expect sent mail copies to sit?

I'm using Vista, I realize emails go to "sent", the problem is it wasn't
until recently that I found out that no one had received what i sent. Now
I'm starting to get error messages. I've never had this problem before and
have used the same ISP for the last 10 yrs.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.

Do not send email

ISP's occasionally change things... like switching to SMTP authentication,
port numbers, server names, etc.
Sometimes they get bought out by other companies...
Check their website email help page to see if anything's changed.
