cannot use windows mail

My e-mails can be received (& sent) on the sky page but notin windows mail.
my wife's e-mails (set up at the same time) are working perfectly well. Any
ideas? Thanks.

Download and install this fix, with Windows Mail not running:

Many common antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton
or McAfee, cause various problems in Windows Mail, although
seldom immediately. This is often a temporary fix for many such
problems.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.
