Import of Windows Mail emails to Windows Live Mail Failed

Originally, I wanted to have auto-complete when addressing an email using
windows live. What I saw in the discussion threads, won't really work the way
I want, so upgrade to windows live mail. I did..that feature now
works...only none of my emails from windows mail imported over to windows
mail live. The discussion threads said it would do it automatically, but it
didn't for me. Please help

It should have imported all of your messages and contacts.
You can try to manually import them...
In WLM, File - Import - Messages - Windows Mail

So what happens when you try a manual import?
In WLM: File, Import, Messages, Windows Mail.

Thanks for the response. Guess my problem is bigger. I don't have file on
the tool bar as a choice. I only have New, Reply, Reply all.

You can have the File menu appear once by pressing the Alt key,
or you can display it permanently by going to Show Menu (which
is immediately left of the Help question mark), click "Show all menus."
