Can't paste images/pictures in Windows Mail (Vista)

I'm using Snag It which captures screen shots (or portions of screens). You
can then specify which type of file to save the image as ... jpg, bmp, etc.

I copy the image to the clipboard and when I go to paste into Windows mail,
the paste option is greyed out. CTRL+V doesn't work. I paste into Word just
fine. I try to trick it by putting some text around it in Word, select all
then paste into Mail but I get the infamous Red X where the image should be.
Yes, mail is set for HTML.

Any ideas? Thanks

You can only paste text into a Windows Mail message.

You can use the Insert Picture command or attach an image file.

I forgot to add..

You can paste an image into a message with the newer Windows Live Mail..

Save it first as a file and then attach or insert it.

This doesn't work for me too with any other tools. But I've found,
that the image will be pasted correctly, if you try to paste it from
conext menu option.
But you may also need to select special option in your program like
Paste Images to Clipboard in HTML format.
