I'm afraid I don't know then unless they want a different server name or a
different port.
Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.

Email is usually sent and received on different ports, so if the port
to send email is blocked, the port to receive email doesn't have to
be blocked.
