Yes. Identical keys in user override keys in local machine for this type of
key. The ui should show your user one from now on.

I'm sooooo close--I have now managed to "uncheck" TWO of the three files
Windows Mail was associated with through the registry. But it will NOT give
up on "mailto." All the instructions I've been given require the altering
of a key in the "clients" file in HKEY_USERS. But I can't find a clients
file there. Can I CREATE that key or...?
