Re: Win Mail Outlook express
The heavy approach is to delete the database and its backup.

Try this instead. Add your mail account a second time so you have two
copies of it. Then remove the first copy that was default, so you are only
left with the new one. Then see if that fixes it.

So go to Tools | Accounts | Add | Mail and add your mail account again and
choose not to download it at this time at the end. Then go to Tools |
Accounts and make that second account the default. Then select the first
account and remove it. Then close and reopen WinMail and see what happens.

Copy or move it, then you can open the folders and drag and drop the .eml
files back into Windows Mail itself (not the new store folders).

No, creating or deleting accounts does not affect stored mail.

Re: Win Mail Outlook express
I have tried to remove this problem with the www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/ tool
but this does not remove the problem.
I still have a rogue e-mail in my outbox which stops me from sending e-mails.
Surely there must be a solution to this problem.
Can anyone help to resolve this.
Can i reload outlook and use that instead of OE Wmail or will the rogue mail
be copied across as well.

Re: Win Mail Outlook express
Did you try what I suggested and add your mail account again and remove the
original? It won't remove any mail messsages. It might fix the stuck
message in the outbox.

Re: Win Mail Outlook express
Move the whole Windows Mail folder where the files are stores, start Windows
Mail back up and let it build a new one, then copy the .eml files from the
old folders to Windows Mail
