cant empty deleted items

Message could not be displayed
Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this
message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again

I know there isn't a memory or disk space problem.

There are about 20 emails that I cant delete from the deleted items folder.
I can remove any new ones that go in there. Is there a way to force these to
be removed?

You can try compacting and repairing the database with my WMUtil program:
www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/

Many are saying if you click empty multiple times it eventually does it.
