Unknown error

I just tried to check my emails, and received this error:

Error desconocido. Protocolo: SMTP, Puerto: 0, Seguridad (SSL): No, Número
de error: 0x800C0148

and

Error desconocido. Protocolo: POP3, Puerto: 0, Seguridad (SSL): No, Número
de error: 0x800C0148

It is not the first time that I receive this error. What do I need to do? (I
have no anti-virus or anti-spyware running at all)

Hi Erwin,

If you have Norton or McAfee installed, you will need to uninstall it
even though it is not running. See the "First" section in this tutorial
for more details.

It looks like you are trying to use port 0, which is seldom the right port
number. Check with your internet provider as the the proper way to
set up email accounts to connect to them. The instructions are often
somewhere on their web site.

There are several WinMail errors that refer to port 0, apparently because
they happen at a point where WinMail has not yet looked up the port in the
Registry.
