E-mails do not download
With Vista Ultimate 32 bit, ADSL 2048/512, 25GB storage at server, and
allowing my Windows Mail server 5 minutes time to complete the download
before timeout, I email myself and have the following results:
1-With only the words “Test mail”, both the send and receive are
instantaneous.
2-Emailing the Google homepage takes about 1 second and receiving takes 2
minutes. With Windows XP Pro, this was instantaneous.
3-Emailing the Google News homepage takes 6 seconds and never ever completes
the download, even after allowing continuing the wait. The error will read:
Account pop.prtc.net, Server: pop.prtc.net, Protocol: POP 3 port 110, Secure
(SSL) No, Error Number: 0V800 CCC 19.
