email settings from Easy Transfer
I have 2 hard drives in my system NOT in an array. I was unable to
restore from my C drive so I had to install Vista to my D drive and
boot from that and restore to my D drive. I then rebooted from my C
drive and copied the User file from my D drive to my C drive and now I
do
not have my email settings. What folder/file are the email settings
in so I can copy them over as well?

Thanks!!

Re: email settings from Easy Transfer
The account information is in the oeaccount files. The message rules and
such are in the registry and you probably lost those. See
www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm

What you should probably do is to set up WinMail again and your accounts and
then you can use File | Import to get the old messages, which will be
located under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\

Whatever the old user profile was. You may first need to copy that
directory to Documents to prevent permissions issues and then try the
import.
