Well, I can't sit down and do a comparative study of antivirus software to
determine which doesn't cause issues.
So I can't really say unless a given product with the email scan
configuration enabled is really an issue, and I know of about 7 or so, but
not every single product.
So generally I say disable it, especially since its redundant anyway and
can't do anything except slow performance.
