Newsgroup reading using Windows Mail

Everytime when a newsgroup is selected , windows mail automatically download
the content of the latest post appears in the newsgroup, this didn't happen
in OE.

Is there anyway to stop windows mail automatically download the post as soon
as a newsgroup is selected ?

Let's face it: Windows Mail's Usenet client is NOT an "offline reader". Want
that? Purchase an off-line Usenet reader.

For instance, Forte's Agent Newsreader.

Unfortunately they decided that was a great new feature and it can't be
turned off. Its been requested that there be some sort of means to do that.
