RE: Message will not delete or moved from Inbox
I saw this in another forum and finally got the nerve to try it and it
worked. So far at least. Don't know if it will reoccur
Turn off Scan emails in you Virus program
Close Windows Email
Open Task Manager, processes Tab,: end process for WinMail.exe Applications
Tab: if windows mail is running - end task
Go to start, All Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer, Computer, Local
Disc (C), Users, Your name (or whatever your computer is called), AppData,
Local, Microsoft, Windows Mail.
Copy the whole Windows Mail folder to a disc or desktop (incase this doesn't
work & you need to recover it). Rename it Windows Mail2 (or something)
Go back to original Windows Mail Folder (see above - the one you copied) and
locate the file named WindowsMail.MSMessageStore Delete this file.
Then go to the backup folder & find this same file. Delete it.
Close all windows & restart the computer. Open Windows Mail. Test it.
You should have a folder on the bottom of your group (under inbox etc) that
says recovered messages. With all your old stuff in it.
If you don't, you can open the backup file and made and drop & drop any
messages you want to keep.
Hope this helps......at least until they get the "fix".
