RE: Windows Phote Gallery Email
I have tried to e-mail photos through Windows Photo Gallery and can't get it
to work. When I click on e-mail photos it asks what size and then says it is
attaching photos but that is far as it goes. Does any one have any
suggestions? Mediacom is my internet provider

Re: Windows Phote Gallery Email
Go to Control Panel | Default Programs and make Windows Mail default and see
if that fixes it.

Re: Windows Phote Gallery Email
Hi Steve,
Do you know why emailing from Photo Gallery with Outlook 2007 as the default
mail client would not work? I have the same issue, if I set the default
client to be Windows Mail all is well. But, if I have it set to Outlook 2007
I have the same issue described by Judy above.
Best,
Todd

Re: Windows Phote Gallery Email
Did you go to Default Programs | Set Default Programs?
Click on WinMail on the left and then choose to make it default.

Re: Windows Phote Gallery Email
Thanks Steve,
Your info was spot on but like another post I had loaded Office 1997 Pro. I
had to reload Vista as the packaged Outlook deleted Windows Mail (Mail). It
appears only the Outlook component causes a problem. - fingers crossed
