Re: Help Please Going Crazy
POP3: incoming.verizon.net
SMTP: outgoing.verizon.net

SMTP requires authentification.

Re: Help Please Going Crazy
BTJ gave you the correct servers. Now you need to trick the dumb wizard in
WinMail so you can enter and use the msn.com email that Verizon gave you.

So, using the wizard, set up everything the way it should be, except for the
email ID use your email-ID@dummy.com. After it is all set up, go back via
Tools /Accounts / select that acct / Properties... and edit the email back
to your email-ID@msn.com.

Then, you should be good to go. Also, if you have trouble sending mail,
make sure that the SMTP (outgoing) ID is set to your entire email address,
not just your 'email-ID.'

Re: Help Please Going Crazy
First of all, what does Verizon tell you the servers are called?
Secondly, what was the setup you had when you had it on Outlook, before?
The exact names, etc.

I'm afraid that you are not providing enough info.

Re: Help Please Going Crazy
I checked my outlook account on my xp computer and it only has hotmail/msn
as a url no incoming or outgoing set up. My vista computer will not accept
the http url that follows - http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

Windows Mail does not support HTML-based email.
