Fix for importing mail into Windows Mail
I keep saying help with mail importing so here is the fix.. It's a simple
bug with Vista Windows Mail that is the problem.. Not somethign your doing
wrong..

After you select the directory where the storage path is look at what the
path shows for the import.. it will be wrong.. it will read as an example...

\local settings\Application Data\Identities\xxxxx\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\Outlook Express

note the last folder is duplicated.. quite the bug aye..

I found if I than clicked on browse again to select the path and go back and
select the folder above it that the duplicate folder will disappear and the
path will be correct. It will now import the files.

Re: Fix for importing mail into Windows Mail
I'm trying to use Outlook 2000 with Vista Home Premium, but keep getting a
problem re: cannot open Windows Address book... WAB DLL not found. Perhaps
it's the Outlook 2000 compatibility problem others have been experiencing?

Due to WAB DLL problem, I'm being forced to use Windows Mail (WM). WM will
import Outlook 2000 Account ok. But falls over when I go
File/Import/Messages/MS Outlook. Just doesn't get any further than
that....no browse folder.

Anyone beeen able to import messages into WM from Oulook 2000 OR even
better, know how to 'fix' Outlook 2000 WAB file problem? I'd at least like
all my mail on one system!
