windows mail crashing

i am having a similar problem to one discribed on this post, also tries to
connect to a dial up connection. i attemp to follow the suggestions posted
but when i click on
Go to Tools > Accounts > Select your mail account > Properties > Connection
windows mail stops responding and i cant seem to resolve this problem. Is
there some way to reinstall windows mail or something to fix this problem??

Not sure if this is the same issue, but my windows has stopped showing any
new messages. Every thing was working fine until 2pm(est) Saturday. The mail
I send out is reaching its destination, but nothing is coming into my inbox
when there is a reply.

Please help!!!
