Windows Mail - Saving Attachments

When I right click ---> Save Picture As, on an attached picture, the
filename has %20 in place of the space(s) in the name. These %20 have to be
deleted before saving but as I never had that problem on XP in OE, is there
a way of fixing it?

you can change the name of the picture in the SAVE window.
if you mean to permanently prevent the %20, have no idea.
